Founded in 1916 as "A Scout Adventureland Forever", Camp Yawgoog is situated on 1800 acres of beautiful wilderness in Rockville, Rhode Island. Yawgoog is divided into three separate Camps: Camp Three Point, Camp Medicine Bow and Camp Sandy Beach. All three camps share reservation program facilities. For example, the Nature Center is located in Camp Three Point, but is available to all Scouts on the Reservation. Each Camp has its own traditions a color, songs and cheers but all three Camps offer the same opportunities to Scouts. The atmosphere of healthy Camp competition is a unique aspect of the Yawgoog experience. Yawgoog Scout Reservation is a part of the Narragansett Council, Boy Scouts of America. The Council is a member of the Rhode Island Association of Camps, and subscribes to its principles of operation.

Directions
- From I-95 (Both Directions)
Follow I-95 to Exit 3B (Rt. 138 West). Follow Rt. 138 through your first traffic light. At the second light (blinking yellow), take a right to continue on Rt. 138. Follow 138 until you see the sign for Yawgoog on your left.
- From I-395 (Both Directions)
Follow I-395 to Exit 85 (Rt. 138 East). Follow Rt. 138 into Rhode Island. Follow Rt. 138 until you see the sign for Yawgoog on your right.

Administrative Offices
Administrative/Reservation Offices are located in the Bucklin Building which is the large 2-story stone building off to your left (behind the trading post) as soon as you enter the camp gateway.
Sending Mail
Mail is sent and received mail every day at Yawgoog. Mail is sorted and distributed to the three camps. It is important that incoming mail bear the correct information in the address, including the Scout's Name, the Camp Name (Three Point, Medicine Bow, or Sandy Beach), the Campsite, the Week your Scout is in camp, and the Troop Number and Community. Put this information above our regular mailing address.
