St. John Bosco Catholic Chapel

From Camp Yawgoog.Org

The St. John Bosco Catholic Chapel is located on Pendelton Hill Road, across from Herbert Boden Field and behind Armington Health Lodge, up the path from Campsite Baden Powell in Camp Medicine Bow. The Chapel was started in 1949 and the dedication took place in the early summer 1950. Rev. William M. Delaney, was the first Yawgoog Catholic Chaplain to celebrate mass in the facility. St. John Bosco was an Italian Priest who worked a lot with the boys and for this he was made a Saint.
