T. Dawson Brown
T. Dawson Brown was President and Chairman of the Board of Industrial National Bank. He served for many years as President of the Narragansett Council and was one of the pioneers in the development of the Downtown Providence Master Plan for renewal.
He was inducted into the RI Heritage Hall of Fame in 1970.
He arranged for the purchase of land for Camp Sandy Beach in 1927. The main gate to Yawgoog is named in his honor, the T. Dawson Brown Gate.
