YAA Is Honored By Fleur-De-Lis Club
On September 15th, the Yawgoog Alumni Association received notification that the Narragansett Council FLEUR-DE-LIS CLUB will honor the Association and add the YAA to its membership. Fifteen years ago the FLEUR-DE-LIS CLUB was founded at Narragansett Council for Scouters concerned with perpetuating Scouting for future generations of young people. Those Scouters or organizations who make a financial commitment to endowment are eligible. As part of the Yawgoog Alumni's continuing work in securing endowment dollars for Yawgoog (The Trust Fund) the YAA will become a member of this prestigious group.
The Yawgoog Alumni Association were honored and inducted into the FLEUR-DE-LIS CLUB at the Narragansett Council Board of Directors meeting, November 12th. Joseph Herbold, Chairman of the Yawgoog Alumni will accept the honor on behalf of all the Yawgoog Alumni Members across the nation.
